Gordon Gemmell

Director

Specialising in project management and corporate consultancy in the aged care and retirement sectors, Gordon was CEO at Baptcare (formerly Baptist Community Care) in Victoria before starting up Premier Consulting.  Over his seven-year tenure, Baptcare redeveloped four of its aged care facilities, expanded its assisted living and independent living accommodation and further enhanced its comprehensive community care program.  Baptcare were also leaders in extended aged care programs into patient’s homes.

Gordon’s extensive experience at CEO level brings an understanding of the need to balance the key mission and values of not-for-profits with their fiscal and corporate governance responsibilities.

Bruce Message

Director

With a strong understanding of the financial issues facing operators in the aged care and retirement sectors, including capital structuring, optimum funding parameters, project feasibility measures and corporate governance, yet never losing sight of the greater goals and missions of an organisation, Bruce has learnt how to successfully balance the commercial realities of a development with the reasons and purpose behind the investment.

Bruce has developed strong working relationships with major operators in the industry and is a regular speaker at industry forums and a keen contributor to industry publications. With a background in interest rates and securities trading and credit risk, prior to Premier Consulting, Bruce was the Managing Director of Chemical Bank (the New York based investment bank) where he was responsible for the facilitation and development of project finance infrastructure transactions for major client groups.

Robert Goff

DIRECTOR, PROJECT & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Robert has over 35 years’ experience in development and project management of Residential Aged Care Facilities, property acquisition, project/development management, construction and engineering.  His experience extends across the retirement living, aged care, commercial/industrial, and social housing sectors.

Robert has worked for profit and not-for-profit organisations in both Australia and overseas (Canada and USA) in these sectors, and has held senior roles, including Anglicare, UnitingCare Ageing, Westpac and Franklins.

Lynette Bruce

AGED CARE OPERATIONAL LOGISTICS

Lyn is the former CEO of Sisters of St Josephs Aged Care Services, with an extensive career in aged care.

Lyn has been involved at both executive and operational level,

As an keen advocate technology in the workplace, and having direct experience in the successful implementation of such systems (e.g. e-medication, staff management), Lyn is a regular speaker on ‘best-practice’ methods at industry conferences.

 

 

Stephanie Lee

PROJECT MANAGER

Since joining Premier in 2008, Stephanie has been responsible for developing financial feasibility models, together with industry research, to assist clients with their capital projects.

Stephanie grew up in Malaysia, before moving to Australia in 2007 when she was awarded a scholarship to complete her Bachelor degree in Accounting & Finance at the University of Technology, Sydney.  In 2009, Stephanie completed her Masters in Corporate Finance.

Stephanie has mastered the many complexities of the industry and the unique challenges that arise and successfully adapts these skills to each individual project, applying her technical accounting and finance knowledge to enhance the analysis process.

Nicholas Tsia

PROJECT MANAGER

Nicholas joined Premier Consulting in 2010, and is responsible for the development of customised client financial models.

Nick began his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young, before moving to Allco Finance Group as part of the property funds management team.  More recently, he worked as an equities analyst with Aegis Equities Research in the REITs sector before joining Premier.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University of New South Wales (Accounting and Finance majors), together with a Master of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Nick has embraced the intricate nature of the retirement and aged sectors, utilising his background in property and analytics to deliver modelling outcome to assist clients.
